Getting started
- Log in on your phone or computer
Nordspann runs in the browser and as an app on iPhone and Android. Each device signs in on its own.
- Add your dogs
A kennel starts with its dogs. Add each dog once, with the few things the rest of the app builds on.
- Set the season and the training numbering
The season starts in a month you choose, and training numbers restart every day, every season or never.

Dogs
- Heats
Log a heat on a female and the app counts the days, predicts the next one and warns in the lineup.
- Injuries and days out
A dog that is injured or out keeps the dates and the reason. Unavailable dogs are shown in the list and skipped when a lineup is copied.
- Notes on a dog
Short notes on a dog, pinned when the whole kennel should see them.

Trainings
- Start a training and set the lineup
Start a training from Home when the team is ready, then tap a dog and the slot where it runs.
- Copy a lineup from an earlier training
Take the lineup of a run that went well as the start of a new one.
- Add the result of a training
Distance, riding time, rest, temperature and notes. With a GPS track most of it is filled in for you.
- Archive a training and bring it back
A training that should not be there goes to the archive. Undo brings it back right away; an admin finds it later.

GPS tracking
- Track a training with GPS
Start tracking on the training, put the phone away, stop at the end. The result is suggested from the track.
- Continue tracking on another device
One phone records a track. Another device of yours can take it over, and the first one stops at once.
- Rest time and riding time
The track splits the run into riding and rest. The kennel sets when standing still counts as rest.

Routes
- Draw a route or import a GPX file
A route is a trail your kennel runs. Draw it on the map or import it from Garmin, Komoot, Strava or another app.
- Which route did a training run?
A GPS track that rode a known route is recognised. The training shows the route and how well the track matched it.

A task has a title, a deadline and who does it. Home shows what is open and what is overdue.
- Tasks in your phone calendar
