Heats

A heat is logged on the dog page of a female, on the tab Heats, with Add. It starts today or on the date you pick.

While she is in heat

• The dog list shows In heat, and the filter In heat now finds her.
• The day counter runs for as many days as the kennel setting A heat lasts says.
• In a lineup, placing a male next to her asks first, and placing her next to a male asks the same.

Is the heat over earlier, tap Heat over. It is closed as of today.

The next heat

Until a dog has two or more heats of her own, the next one is predicted from the kennel setting Heats repeat every. From two heats on, her own rhythm is used. The list shows Heat expected when the next one is near.
