Rest time and riding time
The track splits the run into riding and rest. The kennel sets when standing still counts as rest.
Riding time is the time the team was moving. Rest is a water stop, a tangle or any other time the team stood still. The tracker shows both, and the result of the training keeps them apart.
The rule
Under Settings, Kennel, Tracking, an admin sets two things:
- Rest starts after a number of seconds, counted from the moment the team stopped.
- Standing within a number of metres. Walking along the dogs with the phone stays inside this, so it does not count as moving.
Short stops under the limit count as riding. Pick a rule and keep it, so trainings stay comparable over the season.
