The phone app for iPhone and Android
The same screens as the web app, in an app that starts without signal, records a GPS track with the screen off and updates itself in the background.
GPS tracking
Start tracking on the phone in your pocket. It keeps recording with the screen off and the app in the background, and the training gets its distance, riding time and rest from the track.
Riding time and rest. A water stop or a tangle is rest, not riding. Rest starts after the team has stood still for the number of seconds your kennel sets, within a radius that walking along the dogs with the phone stays inside.
Along a route. Tracking along a route shows how far there is to go, and tells you when you are off the route and by how many metres.
One phone records, another can take over. A track records on the phone that started it. Another device of yours can continue it, and the first one stops at once. Where you are recording, the training shows Back to tracking instead of Start tracking.
No signal, no problem. Without connection the points are kept on the phone and sent once there is signal. Stop works the same way.
Temperature from the place itself. When a training starts, the temperature is looked up where the GPS track began, otherwise at the start of the route, otherwise at the kennel. A temperature you type yourself always stays.

Under Temperature you see whether it was looked up where the GPS track began, at the start of the route, or at the kennel. A temperature you typed yourself shows nothing extra.
Archiving a training stops its GPS tracking at once
If someone archives the training you are tracking, the tracking on your phone stops immediately, with a message that the training was archived. What was recorded stays.
The training shows who is tracking it
A training that a phone is tracking says so under the title. If your other device is tracking, Continue here takes the place of Start tracking and asks first.
A GPS track records on one device
A track records on the device that started it. Another device shows You are tracking on another device, with Continue on this device. The device it left closes its recorder at once.
